Get Comfortable on Your Hands! A Beginner Handstand Workshop

This beginner workshop focuses on the fundamentals of hand balancing with an emphasis on safety and technique. It is aimed at those who have little to no experience doing handstands. During this 90-minute workshop you’ll be taken through the following topics:
*How to prepare and strengthen the body for a successful practice

*Exercises/Drills to learn and improve your straight handstand

*Specific mobility & injury prevention

*Programming and how to modify exercises and drills to suit various levels

This workshop is suitable for those who want to learn how to get into and out of a handstand safely, whether at the wall or freestanding. With the exercises covered, you’ll be able to keep practicing and improving by yourself at home after the event.

In order to expand your experience, you will get access to a free online video training program based on the exercises done during our time together.

Intro to One Arm Handstands

90 minutes to introduce to you what my entire life has been all about. While not only covering precise technique and alignment for one arm handstands we also look into all drills necessary for you to work towards your one arm handstand!
By breaking down each step into multiple progressions we eliminate the possibility of plateaus making training more results driven and fun!
Additionally, you will learn how alignment will help your handstand become more efficient and healthier on your body so you can do more of what you love!

This event is for you if you want to take your handstand practice to the next level and learn drills that highlight the correct technique of the one arm handstand, build endurance and strength needed for hand balancing and protect your body from injuries when pushing beyond your limits. Prerequisites : 20-30 second free standing handstand, no current wrist or shoulder injury.
