Flexibility & Backbends

This 2h workshop starts with a short but highly informative theory lesson. We discuss general flexibility methodology, the most important things to consider when working on your flexibility and how to program an efficient session.

We will put this newly gained knowledge to use during the main part of the workshop where we will learn how a well designed warm up will not only help you stay healthier but also actively work on your flexibility by targeting all the necessary points in your body before even getting to your actual stretches.
During this workshop you will gain a completely new understanding of how your body works and how all parts of your body link together when working on your flexibility. By going through the drills provided with the coaches supervision you will understand by yourself how your front split can drastically influence your back bending abilities and how your limiting point for some skills might not be your flexibility but simply coordination and technique.

In order to expand your experience, you will get access to a free online video training program based on the exercises done during our time together.

This workshop is for you if you want to start improving your flexibility or plan to take your flexibility to the next level. With the exercises, warm up and cool down protocols discussed you will be able to continue training at home by yourself to reach your goals without the risk of injuries.

All Levels Handstand Workshop

In this 2h workshop we will work on everything related to handstands. From technique and precise warm up/injury prevention protocols over exact drills and plateau breaking. We will start by reviewing basic wall drills to perfect your alignment before looking into more advance skills. All advanced skills come with progressions and variation to be suitable and efficient for all levels.

Some of the topics we will cover during this workshops include:

*Identifying & addressing any weak spots in technique, flexibility or strength to help you break through any plateaus
*Playing with handstand shapes to improve alignment & sense of balance

*Introducing various handstand mounts & kick ups
*Step by step progressions to straddle & pike presses
*Introduction to block work & One Arm Handstand practice

This event is for you if you if you love handstands, want to improve on your handstands and learn more about technique and training approach.. The only prerequisite is that you can do a handstand against the wall.
